Even with the rain this past Saturday, a dozen people arrived at Cedar Hill at 6:30 in the morning for Jay Kaplan's Cedar Hill's Feathered Friends walk and talk. Jay spotted more than 70 species of birds during this early-morning exploration.
Mark your calendars now to join us for Victorian Lady Kandie Carle as she shares the life & etiquette during the Victorian & Edwardian Eras. Dressed from corset to gloves, Ms. Carle will surely entertain you with her witty and humorous style. In tribute to spring, Ms. Carle will also discuss the importance of hats during these eras, which will include a hat show by The Hat Place. Wear your favorite hat as prizes will be awarded for most beautiful/unique.
This event will take place on Saturday, May 30th at 10:00am at the Colt lot on Section 2. General admission is $8.00 and CHCF Members and Let's Go Arts Members are free. For more information, visit www.cedarhillcemetery.org or call 860-956-3311.
