4th Annual Run for the Roses Saturday, May 1, 2010, 4:30pm-9:30pm The Hartford Golf Club, 134 Norwood Road, West Hartford $125 per person or $1,000 for a table of 10 Join us Saturday, May 1, 2010 at The Hartford Golf Club for Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation's 4th Annual Run for the Roses! Festivities will begin at 4:30pm with a two-hour cocktail social which will include pre-Kentucky Derby race coverage live from Churchill Downs, hors-d'oeuvres, open bar and a silent auction. The Cocktail Social will conclude with the 136th running of the Kentucky Derby. Following the race, guests will enjoy dinner, live music and dancing.

Cedar Hill Cemetery was established in 1864 and is a non-sectarian, privately-managed, nonprofit organization. Cedar Hill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and encompasses 270 acres of waterways, woodlands and memorial grounds on the South side of Hartford. To date, more than 30,000 people have chosen Cedar Hill Cemetery as their final resting place, including notables Samuel and Elizabeth Colt, J.P. Morgan, Dr. Horace Wells, Isabella Beecher Hooker, and Katharine Hepburn.
